1/2 pound butter or margarine
2 tablespoons Worchestershire sauce
1 teaspoon celery salt
1 teaspoon onion salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon Accent
1 quart "popped" popcorn
3/4 pound unsalted nuts
1 quart doughnut-shaped oat cereal
3 cups bite-sized shredded rice cereal
3 sups bite-sized shredded wheat cereal
1 package bite-size pretzels
Melt butter; add worchestershire sauce, celery salt, onion salt, garlic salt and Accent; mix well. Place remaining ingredients in large roasting pan; pour butter mixture over them; mix gently, but thoroughly. Bake in slow oven (250 deg) for 2 hours, stirring frequently. Cool thoroughly before serving. If not to be used at once, store in tightly covered jars. Makes about 4 quarts.
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup shortening
1 egg
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/4 cup sugar
1 cup mashed bananas (2 med)
1 egg, separated
2 tablespoons sugar
Stir together flour, baking powder, salt and 1/4 cup sugar. Cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Combine bananas, 1 egg, 1 egg yolk and chocolate chips. Add mixture all at once to flour, stirring until well-blended. Batter will be stiff. Turn out onto greased baking sheet, spread into 10-inch circle, 1/2 inch thick. Beat egg white until frothy, brush over top. Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons sugar. Bake in preheated 425 degree oven 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove from baking sheet. Cool
